The Danish National Research Foundation (DNRF) launches an annual photo competition that aims at showing the potential of photography as documentation and communication of research. Each year, three winning images and 10 others are selected by Danish National Research Foundation (DNRF) for an exhibition.
These 13 images are on display in Copenhagen, and in 2024 and 2025 travelled to AIAS for exhibition in an interdisciplinary and international setting.
At the exhibition at AIAS ‘Fascinating Images: DNRF Photo exhibition at AIAS’, the winners of the competition presented their research and motivation behind their image.
AIAS expects to show the images of the 2026 competition in late 2026/ early 2027.
