The Danish National Research Foundation (DNRF) launches an annual photo competition that aims at showing the potential of photography as documentation and communication of research. The three winning images of the 2024 competition and 10 others were selected by Danish National Research Foundation (DNRF) for exhibition.
These 13 images that were on display in Copenhagen travelled to AIAS for exhibiton in an interdisciplinary and international setting.
At the opening of the exhibition 'Fascinating Images: DNRF Photo exhibition at AIAS' (November 2024), the winners of the competition presented their research and motivation behind their image:
'The digestive system of dairy cows' by Giulio Giagnoni, Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Aarhus University (3rd prize)
'Tiny Titans 3D Journey' by Alena Salašová, DANDRITE & Biomedicine, Aarhus University (among the 10 runners-up selected for display)
