The interdisciplinary task-force is initiated by the university management at Aarhus University, and comprised of researchers across disciplines and faculties at Aarhus University. The aim of the task-force is to develop and strengthen possibilities for cross-disciplinary and cross-organisatorical collaborations, networking and research at Aarhus University across disciplines, methods and seniority to address pressing societal issues and detect future challenges.

The director of AIAS is chairing the task-force, and AIAS functions as a meeting-ground for the task-force and acts as a platform and support for the events and meetings initiated by the task-force.

The task-force will

• Rethink and initiate new formats for cross-faculty meetings and collaboration
• Strengthen communication across disciplines and faculties
• Offer advice on and support for cross-faculty initiatives
