AIAS has strong international partnerships and relations as an active member in three international networks: European Network for Institutes of Advanced Study (NETIAS); Nordic Network for Institutes of Advanced Study (NordIAS) and the global University-Based Institutes for Advanced Study (UBIAS). The 'Collaborative Theme Group 3-2-1-Go!' is an initiative that brings Aarhus University researchers together across faculties and departments to collaborate and develop ideas around one shared theme. The cross-faculties interdisciplinary task-force at Aarhus University convenes at AIAS and is comprised of researchers appointed by all five faculties at Aarhus University. The task-force works to strengthen possibilities for cross-disciplinary and cross-organisatorical collaborations, networking and research at Aarhus University to address pressing societal issues and detect future challenges. The Cross-faculty Research Group Leader Network is a network for young group leaders from all five faculties at Aarhus University. The network is run by former AIAS fellows and meetings are hosted at AIAS. Know more about the network here.
AIAS Long Table Discussions invite researchers from across Aarhus University, external partners and international visitors to participate in a focused, free-flowing exchange with an incoming researcher, whose work transcends disciplinary boundaries.
