In realization of joint research interests and to enhancing cross-continental and cross-disciplinary collaborations and exchanges, a mutual exchange agreement has been formed between AIAS/ Aarhus University and WIAS/ Waseda University in Tokyo. The exchange agreement enables researchers from Aarhus University/ AIAS to join Waseda University/ WIAS on a research stay.
A fellowship includes
AIAS will pay for the return airfare. WIAS will provide single accommodation at the university guesthouse.
The visiting fellowships at Waseda University are for Aarhus University faculty with an employment contract with Aarhus University at the time of application and at the time of the visit in Tokyo. A connection at Waseda University is required, and AIAS can assist you in establishing a connection. Please contact AIAS deputy director Lotte Holm, lho@aias.au.dk in this regard.
A visting fellowship at Waseda University lasts from one up to two months (31-60 days) in the period between September 1, 2026 and August 31, 2027.
