AIAS offers AIAS-Tandem Visiting fellowships for AIAS Associate Fellows in the period from January 2025 to December 2025.
The aim of the AIAS-Tandem Visiting fellowship programme is to provide an opportunity for AIAS Associate fellows to invite an international research colleague to AIAS to collaborate and explore new horizons. With the AIAS-Tandem Visiting fellowships, associate fellows can spark and strengthen in-ternational and/or interdisciplinary collaborations by creating dynamic and fruitful partnerships ben-efitting from the interdisciplinary environment at AIAS.
As an AIAS associate, you can apply for one tandem fellow per call and a maximum of two tandem-fellowships during your AIAS fellowship.
Why apply?
If you are interested in testing or strengthening an existing international and/or interdisciplinary col-laboration, an AIAS Tandem Fellowship would be a good fit. AIAS offers dedicated office space for you and your international research partner, along with full access to all AIAS facilities.
Duration of the AIAS-Tandem fellowship
- The fellowship must be for a duration of a minimum of two weeks up to a maximum of three weeks
- You can plan the visit to take place from January 2025 to December 2025
Application
- A short project description and motivation (1-2 pages)
- A CV of your international collaborator
- Duration and planned dates of the visit
AIAS offers:
- Office space (one office, two desks) for you and your international collaborator
- Reimbursement of travel expenses for the international visiting researcher (amount depending on country of origin and subject to prior approval by AIAS).
- Reimbursement for a single accommodation in Aarhus for the duration of the stay for the inter-national visiting researcher (maximum three weeks, amount and accommodation are subject to prior approval by AIAS).
- Assistance with the organisation of any potential event (workshop, seminar or other) in connec-tion with the visit
