To celebrate the arrival of the AUFF-Ukraine Research Fellows  hosted at AIAS and at Aarhus University, AIAS invites you to join an exciting afternoon of talks, food and music from and about Ukraine, bringing insights and perspectives on Ukraine to Aarhus through the AUFF-Ukraine Research Fellows.

PROGRAM

14:00-15:30: Short talks

  • Welcome by Daniel OtzenProfessor at iNano, Aarhus University and AIAS Associate Fellow
  • Ukraine up to 1900 (geopolitics, archaeology, culture)  (Alina Korobeinyk)
  • History of Medicine in Ukraine (Anastasiia Sydorenko)
  • The Crimean Tatars of Ukraine (Elmira Muratova)

15:30-16:00: Coffee break

16:00-17:30: Short talks

17:30-19:00: Reception and dinner including Ukrainian finger food accompanied by Ukrainian folk, jazz, pop and folk-rock music.
