Scientific publication plays a central role in the production, certification, and transmission of knowledge. But scientific publication practices are undergoing rapid change and confronting new challenges, including, for example, the developing of open access and predatory journals.
The conference will provide a platform from which to examine publication practices from a number of disciplinary perspectives, including historical, philosophical, sociological and scientometric.
