Nina Rentel, Director of Social Technologies at Gerando Falcões

This presentation will explore the Favela 3D (Dignity, Development, and Dream) project, an innovative social impact model aimed at alleviating poverty and fostering sustainable development within Brazil's vulnerable communities. The project has already been implemented in four favelas and is now expanding into nine more. In addition to social diagnostics and tailored family development plans, Favela 3D incorporates income generation solutions, including a direct sales initiative focused on empowering women in favelas. Central to the initiative is a data-driven approach: using a social vulnerability index and individual family tracking, the program monitors progress, adapts interventions, and ensures accountability. This talk will share the key outcomes and challenges encountered so far, offering insights into how data and targeted interventions can drive sustainable poverty reduction.
