Joint talk by AIAS Associate Fellows Qian Janice Wang, Department of Food Science and Cathrin Bengesser, Department of Media & Journalism Studies, Aarhus University
Abstract
The critic who publishes their quality assessments of food, wine or film has been dethroned by ratings, rankings and all of us: the armchair critics at home. In this seminar we trace the development of art criticism using the examples of film and wine and introduce you to the basics of formulating your own quality assessments of what you watch and drink. Includes a short wine tasting.
