As part of the racism and anti-racism seminars AIAS Fellows Stefan Bargheer and Kei Hiruta are convening this year, AIAS is hosting talks by Bogdan C. Iacob (Institute of History, Romanian Academy; formerly at AIAS) and Raluca Grosescu (National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, Bucharest) on 16 September. They will give short presentations on:   

‘Health as a Human Right and Eastern European Anti-colonialism’ (Iacob) 

‘The Criminalization of Apartheid under International Law. Central Eastern European Contributions in Global Context’ (Grosescu)   

The presentations will be followed by Q&As and discussion.
