AIAS Fellow Martin Holmstrup receives prestigious grant
Martin Holmstrup was awarded a 'DFF research project 2' by The Danish Council for Independent Research, Technology and Production.
The 4-year project 'Optimizing performance of biological control agents used in Integrated Pest Management' is a collaboration between Aarhus, Aalborg and Copenhagen Universities and industrial partners.
The project aims at identifying genetic, nutritional and thermal preconditioning that optimize performance and fitness of beneficial arthropod predators of pest species.
The Danish Council for Independent Research | Technology and Production Sciences awards 33 DFF-Research Project Grants to researchers in Denmark to the sum of approximately DKK 163 million. Martin's project was awarded with DKK 6,365,085.
