AIAS visits MOMU, the Moesgaard museum and the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Studies and the Department of Anthropology at the AU Moesgaard Campus, situated south of Aarhus.
During the visit, former AIAS Fellow, Professor of Anthropology Ton Otto will give a guided tour of some of the exhibitions of the museum that he has curated; and AIAS Associate, Professor of Archaeology Felix Riede will give a talk on the collaboration between the museum and the University.
PRELIMINARY PROGRAMME
- 11:30: Departure on bus from AIAS
- 12:00: Lunch in the canteen of the AU Moesgaard Campus
- 12:45: Guided tour of both the departments and at MOMU, the Moesgaard museum
- 14:45: Refreshments at the Museum
- 15:30: Departure from Moesgaard to AIAS
- 16:00: Approx. arrival time at AIAS

The visit is open for participation by the current, former and associate AIAS fellows and AIAS staff.
