International Workshop

Kähler and non-Kähler Geometry: New Developments and Interactions

21-23 June 2022

Accommodation update: Due to exceptional circumstances all hotel rooms in Aarhus city and neighbouring areas are currently at full capacity for the night June 22 – 23 (university accommodation included). There are still rooms available for other relevant dates of the workshop (June 20-22 and June 23-24), but please make sure you have secured a solution to the accommodation problem before booking your flights.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together international experts in the neighboring fields of Kähler and non-Kähler Geometry for a 3-day meeting at the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS). The programme will include 13 talks by invited speakers, including shorter talks for young participants. There will moreover be ample time and emphasis placed on informal discussions and interactions so that participants can create new interactions or build on already existing ones.

All participants interested in Complex Geometry or neighboring areas are highly encouraged to participate, with a special emphasis on young researchers (PhD students, postdocs).

For non-mathematicians: Kähler and non-Kähler geometry are neighboring subfields of Complex Geometry, which is a field in (mostly theoretical) mathematics. The talks will most likely be too technical to follow for non-experts, but all are nonetheless very welcome to attend and discover what a mathematics conference can be like!
