In the third round in the AIAS-AUFF fellowship programme, up to ten fellowships are available for application by curiosity-driven and talented researchers with two up to ten years of experience after completion of their PhD. The fellowships are completely bottom-up and open for application by researchers from any research discipline, from all over the world.

What AIAS offers

Fellows at AIAS benefit from conducting their research in an international and interdisciplinary environment that brings researchers together across disciplines, academic seniority and borders in a thriving and creative house that hosts both fellows in individual projects and fellows working in theme groups.

AIAS fellows are offered the time and space to develop their research project, and at the same time they will be inspired and interrupted intellectually by the conversations and exchanges, e.g. in the weekly Monday Seminar Series, with fellows from diverse disciplines that will bring fresh and different insights, methods and perspectives on fellow colleagues’ research, thinking and practice.

AIAS fosters connections, sparks ideas and dissolves boundaries as fellows engage with researchers from different disciplines within AIAS and across departments and research hubs at Aarhus University. Therefore, it is important that applicants have or see relevant collaboration possibilities at Aarhus University.
