The one-day Doctoral Consortium takes place as a separate event of the Aarhus 2025 Decennial conference (https://aarhus2025.org/). During a full-day symposium at AIAS, PhD students and established researchers will collaborate on mentoring and sharing research relevant to the theme of the Aarhus 2025 Decennial, Computing (x) Crisis. The aim is to provide a space of resonance for PhD students from a variety of disciplines and inter-disciplines with relation to how computing and digital technologies matter to urgent contemporary questions.
This event is a forum for in-depth research discussions and for sharing experiences, problems, success stories, and trade-offs between different research directions in a stimulating, open, and safe environment. The 15 participants come from a variety of disciplines and will discuss methodological and theoretical developments, as well as present how the included doctoral projects work with new forms of critical or societal engagements and action.
