Movie Nights: Unraveling Mexico. Part three.
¡Que viva México! (2023) concludes a three-part Luis Estrada film series at AIAS, showcasing bold and satirical perspectives in contemporary Mexican cinema.
Through sharp satire and dark humor, this series explores layered Mexican realities: the everyday mechanics of power, the interplay of media and politics, class and regional divides, and how people navigate scarcity, corruption, and crime. Directed by Luis Estrada, whose films openly critique Mexico’s political system and its controversies, the series aims to spark discussion about social complexity and human relations.
Experience the third of Luis Estrada’s three cinematic works: ¡Que viva México! (2023)
