AIAS Visiting Fellows for the Spring of 2026 selected
Five researchers will stay at AIAS via the Visiting Fellowship programme during their sabbatical in the upcoming semester to be immersed in an interdisciplinary and international research community and collaborate with Aarhus University faculty.
Coming from diverse research backgrounds, each fellow will work closely with Aarhus University researchers, thereby strengthening their individual and the universities international networks and fostering interdisciplinary dialogue within the AIAS community.
The five incoming Visting Fellows will have their daily office at AIAS for research stays varying in lenght from 2 months up till six month.
The Visiting Fellows of the spring of 2026 are:
- Gertraud Isabel Koch, Professor, Institute for Anthropological Studies in Culture and History, University of Hamburg, Germany

Time of visit: 16 March – 15 September 2026 - Melanie Rosen, Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy, Trent University, Canada
Time of visit: 1 March – 15 May 2026 - Rami Gabriel, Professor, Department of Humanities, History, and Social Sciences, Columbia College Chicago, US
Time of visit: 1 February – 31 July 2026 - Victor Quesada, Professor, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Department of Natural Sciences, Universidad de Oviedo, Spain
Time of visit: 1 May – 31 July 2026
About the AIAS Visting Fellowship programme
The AIAS Visting Fellowship programme is open for application from outstanding researchers from abroad who are on a sabbatical and looking for an opportunity to engage with an international and interdisciplinary research community and who have an established collaboration with Aarhus University faculty members.
