AIAS Visiting Fellows for the Autumn of 2026 selected
Four researchers from around the globe will stay at AIAS via the Visiting Fellowship programme during their sabbatical in the forthcoming semester to be immersed in an interdisciplinary and international research community and collaborate with Aarhus University faculty members.
Coming from diverse research backgrounds, each fellow will work closely with Aarhus University researchers, thereby strengthening their individual and the universities international networks and fostering interdisciplinary dialogue within the AIAS community.
The four incoming Visiting Fellows will have their daily office at AIAS for research stays varying from 2 months up till six month.
The Visiting Fellows of the autumn of 2026 are:

Time of visit: 14 September – 14 December 2026 - Kateřina Machovcová, Institute of Psychology, The Czech Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic
Time of visit: 14 September – 13 November 2026 - Shelley Wickham, School of Chemistry and School of Physics, University of Sydney, Australia
Time of visit: 17 August – 15 December 2026 - Yoed Kenett, Technion, Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences, Israel Institute of Technology, Israel
Time of visit: 14 September 2026 – 28 February 2027

Each of the four Visiting Fellows will present their work in the AIAS Seminar Series. The first seminar will be given by Shelley Wickham on 21 September at 11:00-12:00. The seminars are open to all interested in the topics presented – find the complete programme and dates of all the seminars here:

The AIAS Visiting Fellowship programme is open for application from outstanding researchers from abroad who are on a sabbatical and looking for an opportunity to engage with an international and interdisciplinary research community and who have an established collaboration with Aarhus University faculty members.
