Abstract
This talk investigates the relationship between on the one hand selected works of art that make use of bio-science and on the other hand bio-scientific projects that look like works of art that make use of bio-science.
Despite the obvious institutional discrepancies between the two – the former belongs in the art gallery and the latter in the laboratory – the talk aims to demonstrate how and why both have aesthetic potentials.
Marie Braad Lund, Dale T. Mortensen Fellow, will introduce the talk.
