Abstract
Symptoms from the lower urinary such as urinary frequency, urgency, incontinence and nocturia are common, increase with age and may significantly reduce quality of life. The mechanisms behind are multifactorial, but reduced blood flow to the pelvic organs may be an important factor. In his talk, Karl-Erik Andersson will discuss the causes of the symptoms and new ways to treat them.
