To honor this, we are hosting a special film screening of Sideways, allowing you to relive the adventures of Miles and Jack as they embark on a hilarious and poignant road trip through the vineyards of Santa Barbara County. Experience their journey on the big screen and immerse yourself in the world of wine all over again.

But that’s not all! During the screening, you will have the opportunity to taste a selection of the wines (or at least very similar wines) featured in the movie. To give you an immersive experience, the wines will be tasted during the screening and will include varietals such as:

🍷 Pinot Noir – Celebrate Miles' favorite grape variety - loved by many, understood by few.

🍷 Merlot – Despite Miles' disdain for this grape variety, we’ll include a fine example to showcase its rich and robust qualities.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of Sideways or discovering it for the first time, this event promises to be a delightful blend of cinema and wine culture.

The event will start with a brief talk by Alan O’Leary, “How to Watch Sideways”. Ali will then briefly talk about the impact that the movie had on the wine world.
