During her NNF-IAS Fellowship, Christina C. Dahm will be working as a group lead of one of the NFF-IAS Theme Groups.
Christina C. Dahm is appointed a theme lead of one of the four NNF-IAS Fellow Theme groups at AIAS from 2027 to 2032. The groups of NNF-IAS fellows will work across disciplines to transform and bring novel perspectives on the topics of Health and Sustainability, and will collaborate with the other NNF-IAS fellows across the Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
From 2027 to 2029, Christina C. Dahm will lead the first sub-topic in the NNF-IAS programme on ‘Inequity in Health.’

Christina C. Dahm is a professor of epidemiology at the Department of Public Health at Aarhus University in Denmark. She achieved a PhD in molecular biology from University of Cambridge, UK, in 2006 before completing the MSc Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK, in 2007, and has investigated how diet affects development of diseases of public health importance using population-based studies ever since. She has held Visiting Scientist positions at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Harvard University, USA, and at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine, University of Bern, Switzerland. Her research spans from sustainable diets and health to trying to learn more about the causes of obesity and overweight in children, as well as the consequences of obesity in adults.
