On December 13, the Center for Language Generation and AI (CLAI) is hosting a workshop and network event at the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS), in partnership with AIAS and the Academy of the Technical Sciences (ATV).

Join us for an afternoon dedicated to sharing knowledge and insights.

This event brings together researchers at the forefront of language models, language generation, and artificial intelligence, who will present their innovative projects in this rapidly evolving field.

At the event, researchers affiliated with CLAI will offer valuable insights by exploring the latest advancements, methodologies, and applications in language models and artificial intelligence. We shall explore how these developments are shaping the future of technology, education and human interaction.

PROGRAM
16:00 - 17:00: Welcome and short presentations in smaller groups. Participants will go to three “stations” that each give a short 5-minute presentation of one of the five focus areas of CLAI, followed by discussions.

When you register, please select three of the following five focus areas that you wish to attend (please note, that we cannot guarantee all three prioritized stations):

• Language model performance and development
• Human creativity and thinking
• Cognitive Science and linguistic research
• Pedagogical application
• Trust and authority

17:00 - 18:00: Wine, snacks and time for further networking. 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Whether you're an enthusiast, student, researcher, or professional in the field, this event offers an excellent opportunity to connect, learn, and exchange ideas among fellow participants and field experts.
