In this workshop we’ll experiment with an open-ended Tinkering activity that invites us to play together and explore how ideas emerge and move through groups. The workshop is facilitated by Amos Blanton who will present some of his research on collective creativity, and we’ll reflect on the qualities of environments that support cross-pollination.

Bio

Amos Blanton, PhD, is a designer, researcher, and educator specializing in open-ended creative learning experiences and environments. He ran the Scratch online community as part of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at MIT Media Lab, designed learning through play activities for LEGO House, and now does research on play and collective creativity.
